Ice Bath Immune Boost

Ice baths, swimming in glacier-fed lakes, or cold showers, are just a few chilly options for tapping into optimal health. Earlier this month, I spent a week in Northern Spain learning the Wim Hof Method (combining breathing, cold therapy, and mindfulness, to connect more deeply with your body and boost immunity). That’s me in the photo (sunglasses/headband). Success! I was able to stay in the icy cold water for twelve minutes by focusing on my breath and tuning in to the energy of the group. This, combined with early morning breathing sessions, left me feeling nourished, invigorated, and ready to deal with all of life’s daily stressors at home.
